Laura Archer oversees the financial transactions for Shockey Consulting including invoicing, accounts payable and reconciliations.  

Laura has a background in accounting, bookkeeping, office management and banking.  She has experience working for a range of small and medium-sized companies.  Laura thrives on problem solving, getting things done and reconciling to zero. 

Laura enjoys being outside. She loves walking, jogging, working in the yard or just drinking a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the patio. She also enjoys spending time with her sons.  Her oldest has an accounting degree from the University of Kansas and her youngest currently attends KU. 

Laura started her education journey at the University of Colorado before transferring to University of Missouri earning a Bachelor’s in Finance.
