With expertise in public finance, resident engagement, strategic planning, and performance management, Grant loves to help communities tackle their toughest challenges with foresight and care. 

Grant has worked in a wide range of industries, including corporate communications consulting, electoral campaigns, environmental lobbying, and most recently in the finance department for the City of Olathe, KS.  

Grant was a local government nerd from an early age, attending Shockey community engagement events as a fifth grader, participating in the “Future City” competition in middle school, and interning for Shockey the summer after high school.

As a life-long Kansas Citian, Grant loves finding the region’s hidden gems. You can also find him exploring the City’s restaurant and theater scenes, singing in the Heartland Men’s Chorus, or enjoying our local parks and trails.
