It's All About the Hexagon

In the past few years, the pandemic taught us a lot about ourselves, the way we work and the strength of our connections. We also learned a lot about our clients — that more than ever they want communities that are capable, resilient and efficient. They want to make sure the fundamental structure — the basis on which they build and grow and thrive — is solid, sound and stronger than ever. 

So of course, we thought of the hexagon. 

For some time, the Shockey team has been pondering an image to convey what we strive to be for our clients – sturdy, dependable, effective. (Which, by the way, is what our clients strive to be for their stakeholders.) During these oh-so-challenging times, we gravitated toward the hexagon. A brilliantly multi-colored hexagon, to be exact. 

When it comes to shapes, the hexagon is a bit of a workhorse. Because it’s a naturally strong structure, chemicals often bond in the form of a hexagon. Think beehives, and ice crystals forming naturally. The hexagon is balanced yet complex. It’s multi-dimensional yet efficient. It integrates many different dimensions – yet it holds up. 

The hexagon also symbolizes the future. And that’s important to us.
