Let's build stronger

leaders together!

Serving as an elected official is increasingly challenging.

The polarization of society makes it more difficult for elected officials to develop productive relationships with each other, staff, and the people living in the community – all essential to effectively governing.

Our Masterclass helps new and veteran elected officials learn how to govern effectively and efficiently.

We build elected officials’ decision-making strength, endurance, and agility. Our high-intensity interval training format, where each short training module builds upon the other, results in an all-around more effective elected official.

Why should elected officials attend our Masterclass?
  1. Our Masterclass builds stronger, more effective elected leaders:

  1. More effective elected officials allow staff to focus on building efficient organizations to carry out the vision and policies of the governing body.

  1. Elected officials are more effective when they make connections with other elected officials. Our Masterclass creates a sense of camaraderie among participants.

Who should attend our Masterclass?

Our Masterclass serves both:

We don’t spend precious time explaining the rules and responsibilities of an elected official. That’s been presented during onboarding. So instead, we help officials:

Participants build tangible skills to work more effectively with others, whether just starting out or more experienced.

Elected officials have an oversight role in government. Acting as a "trustee" requires a measure of distance from staff. Understanding the organization's dynamics and culture makes it easier to focus on accountability while staying out of the weeds.

Open meeting laws make building relationships and consensus with other elected officials challenging and awkward. Learn how to follow the rules and have more effective conversations with other elected officials. Move from a passive decision-maker to a more active decision-maker focused on building consensus and community.
