Project Manager
Leigh Barnhart is an accomplished communicator and experienced project manager who helps communities advance initiatives and public improvements. She has an extensive background developing key messages and uses a variety of communications tools, including traditional methods and innovative technologies, to bring people together for involved decision making. Leigh highly values collaboration among community members and enthusiastically plans and manages partnerships for results. She joined the Shockey team in 2005 following work for both local government and the private sector. Leigh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri and a Master’s Degree in Media Communications from Webster University. In addition to working with communities, she enjoys canoeing, hiking, playing the piano, and watching her daughter figure skate.
